Abell
2666 is relatively
small but rather distant (about 340 million light-years)
galaxy cluster located in the constellation Pegasus, about 4
degrees from Alpheratz. In the center of the cluster clearly
dominates the giant cD elliptical galaxy NGC 7768. Wider
Abell 2666 field is shown above (north is up) and some more
detail view of the central part around NGC 7768 below.
