Hickson 44 (Arp 316) Galaxy Group

 Hickson 44 (or also Arp 316) is a galaxy group about 80 million light-years away in the constellation Leo (near to Algieba). It contains galaxies NGC 3185 (Sb, ring), NGC 3187 (SB, blue S-shaped, NGC 3190 (Sa, edge-on) and NGC 3193 (elliptical). Nearby stars of our galaxy, distant 250 light-years (the blue star at the bottom), about 1000 light-years (the 3 bright orange stars) and more, nicely complement the picture..
