Mesier 31, largest member
of our local group of galaxies, is located in the
constellation Andromeda at a distance of about 2.5 million
light-years from Earth. The two satellite galaxies are
M32 and (lower) M110. For
this picture I have just completely reprocessed my 7 years
old data (acquired with a small refractor and DSLR) to get
(hopefully) better result.
