NGC 507,
also (with NGC 508)
Arp 229,
is a (rather distant, ~ 230 MLY) lenticular galaxy in the
constellation Pisces, placed exactly between M33
(Triangulum Galaxy) and Mirach (beta
Andromeda). It is also a central member of the interesting
galaxy group with number of smaller mainly spiral galaxies.
For the processing I used (only, it is not an easy
object) 4 hours of data but the result is, I believe,
rather satisfactory. Recently I started to use the Russel
Croman's Blur- and Noise-XTerminator plugins and I like it
very much.. it makes my processing much faster and the
output is also clearly better.
