This
NGC 5846
group of
galaxies is located in eastern part of the
Virgo constellation (near M5) some 90
million light years from Earth. In the center of the group
resides a giant elliptical galaxy
NGC 5846. Second large galaxy
NGC 5850
is a nice (and photogenic) face-on barred spiral galaxy. On
the right we can see the smaller elliptical
NGC 5845
and brighter
NGC 5839.
