NGC 7753
and
NGC 7752
(also Arp 86)
are a pair of galaxies approximately 272 million light-years
away in the constellation Pegasus. NGC 7753 is the primary
galaxy. It is a barred spiral galaxy with a small nucleus.
NGC 7752 is the satellite galaxy of NGC 7753. They resemble
the Whirlpool Galaxy M51 and its satellite. Like in my
recent picture of NGC
6951 also here the background is not
homogeneous because of presence of the
integrated
flux nebula (IFN), illuminated not by a single
star, but by the (integrated !) energy from the flux of all
the stars in the Milky Way. (wiki) Later I also
noticed that in May 2025 a Ia type
supernova SN 2025kyg
was observed in NGC 7753. Comparison of my picture with some
older ones on internet showed that the supernova (marked
with an arrow below) is still nicely visible !
