M64, also
known as the Black Eye Galaxy, is placed
in
the
Coma Berenices constellation,
abou 45 MLY from us. It has a spectacular dark band of
absorbing dust in front of the galaxy's bright nucleus,
giving rise to its nickname Black Eye galaxy (wiki).
