M99 is an interesting spiral galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices and a (maybe relatively new) member of the Virgo galaxy cluster. A close encounter with another galaxy in the past may be responsible for the apparent spiral arms distorsion. Also my first image with the (new) Newton.
